Linde Kids Update

Katie is busy, busy. Her school courses keep her doing schoolwork most of the day. Seminary has proven to be a challenge, some days, but very rewarding with the scripture knowledge she has gained. She just enjoyed her first time skiing up to Mount Baker on Saturday with her "new bestie" Venna. Her main response about skiing is, "I am terribly sore, but I am definitely going back." She a ski pass for the next 8 weeks to go with the high school "ski bus."
Ethan is excelling in school, coming home happy. That is very exciting around here. He did some hunting this fall and got his first buck by himself and had a great time. He has been attending scouts on Fridays and enjoying it very much. He is super excited, because Jason received his 2Nd calling as scout leader this Sunday. They are both looking forward to working together.
Autumn is just as busy as everyone else. She keeps an abundant amount of plastic food at the ready when anyone says they are hungry, and asks her to cook for them. She received a kitchen from Santa and it was one of the most exciting Christmas' we have had. She woke everyone up at 6:00am to say she heard a noise on the roof, that it must have been Santa flying away and he must have left her kitchen! "Let's go check! Let's go check and see if Santa was here." She really understood the whole Santa Claus concept this year. When she would see the lights across the ocean in white rock Canada, she said "That's where Santa's house is." Anyway she plays the moment she gets up until we make her go to bed!

So glad to hear you guys had a great Christmas. Autumn and Azlynn are totally opposites when it comes to Santa. We had to carry Azlynn down the stairs because we told her that Santa had come. If she had it here way, she would have had him leave her gift outside. She still doesn't like the jolly happy soul. I have missed you. Thank you for the Christmas card. I am horrible and didn't send them out this year. I got caught up in craft projects this year and before I knew it Christmas was here!
